I took my digital camera to work today and took many, many, many pictures. Most of them contained water. I have conveniently excerpted the best bits, and here they are.

Finished moving. Will post pictures of B-Dorm room later. Everything that's not here is in a 5x5x10 storage cube shared between four people.

A friend of a friend was the last one to leave her suite, and her irresponsible roomate left a sh**load of perishable groceries in the fridge. We took all that were good. It's at least $150 worth, although not necessarily things we'd pick, all things that we'll happily eat. The same person also left her tiny (cube-shaped) refridgerator behind, so we took that too and filled it with some of the food. Ah, luxury.

Work is... mixed. Such long hours. 9 - 5 is one thing. 8 - 6 is something else again, especially with a commute. Oh well. Yesterday I saw a huge spotted eagle ray in the bay. Must have been at least three feet from wingtip to wingtip. I also saw the cutest little YOY. (YOY, rhymes with "joy," stands for Young of the Year. dolphin, of course). It was so tiny. Couldn't have been more than a few days old, since it still had natal fold marks. (Little lines on its skin from being folded up in mommy's womb). Oh, so cute.

That's about all, since it's bedtime. I am very happy to be moved and checked out. The old room was spotless when we left, 'cause the three of us worked really, really hard to make it so. Wheel's been unpacking here and making it homey. Which it actually is. Next on the list: completing my school contract. Music Theory final will be taken weekend in second week of June (prof is busy 'til then).
