13 October 2002 is now the birthday of my third 'niece,' who unlike her elder siblings was not backwards insider her momma, and who came into the world weighing 8lbs 9oz. Jade called me last night (her first day home from the hospital) with the news, as she didn't have anyone's phone numbers at the hospital.

Mother and child are well, and I am grateful. Father (who is not in the Air Force after all) and siblings sound good too.

I wish very much to see them all, but I doubt this will be possible.
